If you had taken Blogger backup from Google Takeout , you would have realized that the format for each of your blog is an ATOM file. Drupal Commerce: How to disable the quantity text field in Shopping cart?

If you are using Drupal Commerce, you might have observed that on the Shopping Cart, there is an editable Quantity text field displayed in the cart after the user “Add to Cart”.In some scenarios, the quantity is always one. On a Samsung Galaxy series of Android phone, you can easily take screenshot by swipping the edge of your palm from left to right, which can be enabled from the settings. How to share files between computers with Windows HomeGroup?

USB drives have made our lives easier to share files. But what if we can do away with it in some scenarios where there are different computers "on" in the same network at home. We can do so easily by setting up "Homegroup" if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8. A HomeGroup makes it easier to share files and printers on a home network. You can share pictures, music, videos, documents, and printers with other people in your HomeGroup. Other people can't change the files that you share, unless you give them permission to do so. HomeGroup is only available on home networks. Setting up a HomeGroup could be ideal for home and small office to simplify file sharing between computers.   You can even stream music and videos too. How to share internet connection from Windows 8.1 via Wi-Fi enabled laptop?

In my earlier post, I blogged about how to share internet connection using a small USB Wi-Fi adapter here . The device is small and cheap. It is best suited for sharing internet connection from a desktop computer to other wireless devices such as laptop and phones. Today, let's talk about how to share internet connection on your Wi-Fi enabled laptop to other devices. Basically we want to create an Access Point (AP) on our laptop that other devices can connect to to access internet. On earlier versions of Windows we could create ad-hoc wireless connections between computers but it is no longer possible in Windows 8.1 using a visual interface. When you connect to a wireless network, the settings and profile of that specific network is saved on your android device so that you won’t have to re-enter your network credentials again, such as the password. Overtime, we might have several Wi-Fi networks saves some of which might be obsolete. How to stop sharing folders in Windows HomeGroup?

See previous post here how to create HomeGroup in Windows 7 and Windows 8 for file sharing in home network, how to connect to homegroup etc. When you create a HomeGroup, by default all folders inside  "Pictures", "Documents", "Videos", "Music" as you see in the 'Libraries" are shared in the HomeGroup. If you would like to remove some folders from being shared, do the following. Public folders such as "Public Documents", 'Public Music", "Public Videos" and "Public Music" are also shared by default. Network Issues: LAN shows connected but not able to connect to internet

If you are faced with a situation where your LAN connection shows " connected ", and there are no error notification on the network icon in system tray, but you cannot connect to the internet, then try the following. Such issues can occur after some system changes were performed either by you or some software in your computer. AntiVirus installation and un-installations can also trigger such issues as it was in my case this time. I had Kaspersky AntiVirus removed and ever since I could not connect to the internet though all my network adapters shows fine.
